Participants at the 54th meeting of GKV/TecPart at HASCO.
The members of GKV/TecPart, (Federation of engineering plastics products), headquartered in Frankfurt, meet regularly to highlight current topics concerned with mouldmaking and tooling design, to discuss them and to draw up effective solutions for day-to-day work in the field of mouldmaking. Some 20 mould design managers of leading German companies met at the 54th meeting to exchange information and ideas at HASCO’s plant in Lüdenscheid.
Before the official meeting began, Detlev Kunze, regional sales manager West, gave an insight into the HASCO success story and the new organizational structures. Jörg Felske and Ulrich Möller, Managing Directors of the newly founded mouldmaking institute, informed the participants of the functions and aims of the cooperation partners.
A short tour of the HASCO plant was followed by the official meeting of the GKV/TecPart working group for mould design managers. Apart from the activities of the Federation, the agenda also covered topics such as CE labelling and mould-related hazard evaluations.
At the end of the event, GKV/TecPart spokesman Michael Weigelt summed up as follows: “After intensive and interesting discussions on HASCO’s development, the conference provided the participants with new findings on the safe and reliable production and start-up of moulds with HASCO as a reliable partner.“
