HASCO-Core pin Z 492/..., the new “Cool Finger”

The HASCO core pins Z 492/... made of beryllium-free special copper alloy are excellently suited for specific heat dissipation in injection moulds. With a 10 times better heat conductivity than steel they are easily able to dissipate undesirable concentrations of heat specifically in inaccessible mould areas, thus achieving a cycle time reduction of up to about 30 percent.
The core pins with a hardness of HB 200 are easy to machine, additional heat treatment is unnecessary. The wear resistance can be increased by subsequent surface coating.

The core pins Z 492/... are available world-wide in the diameters 4 to 16 mm, in graduations of 2 mm, with a shank tolerance of “g6“ in the lengths 160, 250 or 315 mm. The dimensions of the core pins comply with the standard DIN ISO 6751 for ejector pins.
