 | Manufacturers of high quality plastic parts require indication of identity and origin. The marking of mouldings has been proven effective in practice for many years. Marking of many products is already obligatory. Inscriptions should be positioned where they are clearly legible.
The inserts are used in injection moulds and exchanged as required. It is necessary to change them when the moulding varies in colour or moulding compounds. Changing the marking inserts always means a production down time because it is usually necessary to dismantle the complete injection mould.
The new HASCO marking units limit down time to a minimum. The interchangeable insert can be removed easily from the mould parting level and replaced with new ones on the moulding machine. Features are: Fast availability of replacements and no additional set-up times for resetting and restarting the mould.
The marking units Z 4800 in the square and Z 4810 in the round version are available in three different sizes each. They consist of a stationary holder which remains in the mould and the interchangeable inserts made of steel 1.2767. Raised or recessed marking is possible.
