| . | | The new HASCO ejector pins Z412/... with molybdenum disulfide coating
suitable for Plastic Injection and Die-Casting moulds
New in the HASCO range are the Z412/... MSO2 coated
ejector pins with cylindrical heads according to DIN ISO
6751, known especially in Die-Casting. They are made
from hardened hot work steel 1.2343 and nitrided prior
to coating, and are additional to the Z41/... ejector pin
range. Availability: ex stock, in a wide range of sizes.
Molybdenum is well known as an alloying element
reducing abrasion. This characteristic element is bonded
firmly to the ejector pin by a thermochemical coating
treatment. The good tempering properties of the ejector
pin core material is approx. 600°C.
With a black glossy oxidation layer for the protection of
steel surfaces, a number of positive effects are obtained
which result in increased productivity and reduced
maintenance. The dry-running features are impressive
and exceed most of the known coating alternatives. The
thin coating layer is fixed solidly to the plasma nitrided
surface of the core and does not loose colour or create
abrasion harmful to the mould tool.
In combination with the new HASCO special grease
A7002/40 the endurance and therefore maintenance
intervals are extended further, offering a safe protection
against corrosion. Very thin application of the grease
creates a film that remains intact without gumming. The
outcome of this is further improvement of the tool life
and even longer service intervals.
This silicon-free grease is optimized for Plastic Injection
and Die-Casting applications and withstands temperatures
of 1400°C with remarkable smooth running properties. By very
good adhesion of the white lubricant on the oxidized
hydroplane, abrasion and dirt are not transported to the cavity.
