NPE 2006 Chicago

At this year’s NPE, the biggest American trade fair for plastics processing, exhibitors from over 100 nations showcased pioneering innovations from the fields of raw materials, injection moulding, extrusion and mould design.

HASCO also unveiled its new “Hot Base" concept for the first time. From engineering to the colour-matching of finished tools, HASCO is therefore presenting itself as a competent partner that can project manage, design, produce and support complete mould packages comprising mould construction, standards, additional working and hotrunner processing right through to the start of production.

For our customers, this means bundled expertise from a single source, a shortening in mould manufacturing times and global service for demanding mould projects.

The “dart point” project was also unveiled as a global innovation. The first fully electrically-driven, 32-cavity needle seizure system in the world produced dart points from POM in an impressively low cycle time. This multiple-cavity system that is fully compatible with clean-room environments is ideal for customers from the fields of medical technology and food packaging.

For the first time at the NPE, the heated ZI215/... sprue bushing was unveiled to the American market. The external dimensions of this nozzle match conventional Inch sprue bushes and can be installed into existing moulds with minimal effort. By doing away with the solidifying sprue, material is saved and the cycle time significantly reduced. This represents a significant productivity advantage through a HASCO innovation at an unbeatably low price.

Christoph Boueke, President of HASCO America, summarised the success of the trade fair: “We were totally amazed by the quality and number of visitors to the HASCO stand. HASCO has shown very impressively that we are the expert partner for mould construction, hotrunner and special processing for our discerning customers in North and Central America".

HASCO Hotrunner Symposium at the KUZ in Leipzig
on October 5, 2006

The topics are aimed primarily at designers and tool makers but will certainly also be of interest to injection moulders. Participants will find out about the latest developments and trends in the field of hot runner technology. Since there is a limit to the number of participants, please register as soon as possible.

New developments of the HASCO standards programme at the Scanplast 2006

The Scanplast 2006 from April 4 to 7, 2006 has again underlined its leading role as a fair for mould builders and injection moulders in Scandinavia. Despite a slight drop in the number of visitors, the perspectives for the future in Northern Europe are reservedly positive.

HASCO form-service with its domicile in Hökerum, Sweden has placed the emphasis of its presentation at this year’s Scanplast on very extensive solutions in hotrunner technology.
Because of the numerous new developments in recent years, the visitors’ interest and need for information here is particularly great.

The main attractions for the visitors were the newly developed magnetic needle valve Z1081/... which can be used ideally for clean-room applications and the flexibly extended Techni Shot Z3310/… nozzle system for highly demanding technical applications.

Customers and visitors also showed a great interest in the new developments of the HASCO standards programme. Highlights: The flexible sealing element A4200/... which allows a burr-free, damage-free moulding of insertion parts and the worldwide innovation in the HASCO programme,
the compound clamping plate K101/... with embedded thermal insulating sheet which is very suitable for the magnetic clamping technique but also for clean-room applications.

The whole development and manufacturing process for a mobile phone shell was presented at the joint stand of the Framgångs factories. HASCO form-service has contributed to this project with the interchangeable tool system K3500/... for a rational and fast production of prototypes and small series.

Good conversations on a high level – KMO 2006

The plastic processing fair KMO in Bad Salzuflen closed its gates last weekend. HASCO was again able to sum up positively at the end of this very well frequented regional fair. Over an exhibition area of about 120m ² , HASCO presented numerous innovations for tool and mould construction in the field of plastic processing. In addition to proven products such as corrosion protection cartridges, mini hot runner and flexible sealing elements, a compound clamping plate K 101/... which offers new possibilities for thermal separation between mould and machine was presented exclusively for the first time. The Internet-based sales campaign also attracted great attention during the fair. All customers have the opportunity to buy standards at reduced prices with this online tool in the HASCO Webshop. For more than 300 visitors, mainly from Northern Germany, the HASCO fair stand was once more a port of call to find out about the latest trends in tool and mould design. In addition to numerous technical talks, interesting contacts were established and experiences swapped again this year.
