Quality, time and costs are important factors when it comes to the production of injection mouldings. Simplified processes reduce the time and cost outlay involved and strengthen the competitiveness of mouldmakers and toolmakers. Against this background, HASCO, as an internationally leading supplier of modular standard components and accessories, is continually working on process optimisations for mouldmaking. With its new steel poster, HASCO offers optimum support in selecting a steel.
The poster presents all the HASCO standard materials and a number of special grades at a glance – from unalloyed construction steel, via corrosion-resistant, pre-tempered tool steels and high-alloy hot working steels, right through to dimensionally stable, pre-hardened materials. All the key information is set out clearly in tabular form: the material number, abbreviated name, chemical analysis, strength, working hardness, properties and uses. QR codes provide access to more detailed information. The complete material data sheet for the material in question can be readily called up on a smartphone. Mould- and toolmakers alike benefit from faster and more accurate material selection.
In parallel to the steel poster, the HASCO app also supports material selection. The app offers a range of options for simplifying the selection process, including the conversion of hardness values, a cutting-data calculator for common tool steels and a comparison of steels and standards.
The HASCO steel poster and app mark the outcome of a continual discourse at a high technical level and the company's close, practically-oriented cooperation with users. HASCO takes up its customers' requirements with innovative strength, agility, simplicity and performance.
