Excellence Partnership: HASCO and the Eckert Schools

Every day, and at the highest technical level, it creates solutions worldwide that help to simplify the task of mould-making. It is constantly seeking ways to strengthen its team with experience, knowledge and special skills. Such skilled staff are becoming more and more difficult to find, and the much talked-about shortage of skilled staff has become a stark reality. 65 percent of the companies in the metal-processing industry say the shortage of skilled employees is a major problem for them. HASCO too, as a global player, is in the "war for talents".

In this context, the recently agreed Excellence Partnership with the Eckert Schools can be seen. For more than 70 years, this training provider, headquartered in Regenstauf near Regensburg (Germany), has focused nationwide on training, further education, vocational rehabilitation and occupational retraining. In North Rhine-Westphalia practical study courses are offered leading to the qualification of certified technician or industrial foremen (IHK) at locations such as Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Cologne and Wuppertal.

With this cooperation partnership, HASCO is stepping up its support for the education and further training of young employees. The topic of training has played a major role at HASCO for many decades. This is reflected in its own teaching workshop and the successful training concept known as "SEED".

HASCO trainees are much sought-after young people in all areas of business. From the very beginning, they are integrated into projects and work processes according to the principle of "push and promote". The training at HASCO is supported by intensive cooperation with vocational schools, technical colleges and various institutes. With the Excellence Partnership recently agreed with the Eckert Schools, HASCO is consistently pursuing its chosen path to encourage and foster young employees.

The interplay of theory and practice contributes significantly to the enthusiasm of young people for the intensive training in their respective field. At HASCO, this enthusiasm forms the basis for proactively dealing with the shortage of skilled staff. Their advanced practical training after an apprenticeship opens up new and exciting prospects for young HASCO employees. In line with the company's brand claim "Enabling with System", this cooperation creates additional development opportunities and is part of HASCO's human resources development which is geared to the future.
