For many decades now, HASCO, the international supplier of modular mould components and accessories, has been training next-generation skilled employees at a very high level at its headquarters in Lüdenscheid. This special commitment has now been honoured by the district skilled crafts and trades association. Of 1500 skilled crafts and trades companies, six were awarded a certificate for their special commitment to training over the past three years – and HASCO ranked among them.
HASCO's claim of "Enabling with System" does not just apply at the product level within the company. "Enabling" is a basic attitude that can be found in all the different company areas at HASCO. Hence, the company's own demanding training concept known as SEED (a German acronym for Independent, Responsible, Results-oriented and Thinking) is geared to creating opportunities. In practice, this means that the current 19 industrial and 6 commercial trainees at the company are assigned challenging tasks and provided with support right from the start.
In the different areas of their training, the young people work independently and take on a wide range of tasks, including in planning, material procurement, the construction of injection moulds and the accompanying commercial procedures. Particular importance is attached to teamwork and a high-quality performance at HASCO. In this way, trainees are encouraged to develop and make the most of their talents and opportunities. This is also reflected in HASCO's training slogan of Enable yourself!
By continually training young people, HASCO secures well-trained and qualified next-generation employees for the company, assumes responsibility in the region and makes a contribution towards securing the future. In the course of a small ceremony, the head of the district guild, Thomas Bock, presented the HASCO team with a certificate in recognition of their special commitment to vocational training in the region.
In future too, HASCO will be assuming responsibility in its surrounding region and making a contribution to securing the future through the provision of training for young people.
