Mountain Bike Tour: HASCO customers delighted by the Bergisches Land

As an internationally leading specialist in standard mould components, HASCO is constantly working on the development of innovative products and services. Even outside their day-to-day work, the company's employees are to be found dynamically on the move, including organising customer events such as the Sauerland Run, the Vintage Car Rally, the Company Run and the Mountain Bike Tour.

Dynamic excursion

The current HASCO mountain bike tour, organised by our technical sales engineer and passionate mountain biker, Stefan Reich, delighted a number of our customers. The meeting and starting point was in the Bensberg district of Bergisch Gladbach. It was here that the 12-strong team met up with the tour guides, some took possession of rented bikes, and underwent a brief technical training session before conducting a bike and safety check. The team was presented with a small surprise at the outset – a HASCO jersey and a drinking bottle.

In excellent weather, the fully equipped and highly motivated team set off on the scenically delightful route. The first stage followed trails and forest paths through the Königsforst and over the Wahner Heide to the Gammersbacher Mühle. Here the team was able to indulge in a cool, alcohol-free "Bergischer Sportsmann" beer and a barbecue buffet. Suitably refreshed, they then tackled a few climbs and altitude metres. The high point, in the true sense of the term, was the ascent of the Tütberg.

At the end of the tour all the participants met up back at the starting point – some earlier than others. Exhausted but happy, the cyclists were all thoroughly delighted. There was positive feedback for HASCO and the tour guides: "Wonderfully organised! Suitable for all fitness levels – no one gets left behind. I'm already looking forward to doing the tour again."
