CADClick update facilitates the use of HASCO CAD data

Customer orientation at HASCO, the Lüdenscheid-based standard component manufacturer with its core values of agility, simplicity and performance, is focused on the development of innovations. Alongside new and further developments at product level, the company is constantly optimising its service portfolio, always with the aim of further facilitating mould and toolmaking.

HASCO offers designers a particular service with one of the most modern and high-performance portals in the industry, www.hasco.com. All the company’s products, innovations and services are available in the HASCO portal worldwide 24/7. With the support of high-performance tools – the mould base assistant, layout editor and ejector configurator – mould units can be configured both rapidly and simply.

Efficient use of the CAD data generated in the mould creation process is particularly important for designers. Here, HASCO has gone one step further, working in close cooperation with KiM GmbH. The CADClick module used in the portal has been comprehensively reworked to further improve its compatibility with different browsers and CAD programs.

The CADClick module now operates independently of Java and can be used with all the different browsers. The toolbox called up via the browser sets the system to the CAD program being used, allowing the CAD data to be directly incorporated. The consistent use of the 3D models, in line with Industry 4.0, brings clear time advantages for the design process. The new parasolid interface also makes for greater compatibility and wider applicability.

The update has already been incorporated in the HASCO portal and can be used to further simplify the design process.
