Speed is an important factor in injection moulding production. Processes need to be kept as simple and efficient as possible. And orderliness and a rapid overview of available moulds is a key aspect of this. Clear labelling with permanently affixed nameplates helps to keep track of the different moulds. A single glance will then suffice to identify a mould. This is particularly important when rapid mould changes are required during hectic production phases.
With the new HASCO nameplate A6500/... individual companies can readily implement their own classification and labelling methods. The white coated aluminium plate is custom-printed in line with the customer’s specifications. In this way, key information such as mould-specific data, inventory number, product name, production date, storage location or hazard and warning symbols, can be readily applied to each mould. The HASCO nameplate A6500/... comes in eight sizes. It has two or four holes depending on the size and can be mounted securely and visibly on the mould with the HASCO grooved pins that are supplied.
Individual nameplates are currently produced on the basis of nameplate data that customers send to HASCO (all standard picture formats are accepted). The template is compiled and a customised nameplate produced. In future, it should be possible for the nameplates to be readily compiled online in the HASCO portal. More detailed information on this will follow.
With the new A6500/… nameplate, HASCO is further simplifying matters for the injection moulding industry.
